After yet another wave of criticism for extended replay reviews and commercial timeouts, the NBA is considering a revolutionary move: actually showing basketball. This change would mean fans could tune in to watch their favorite teams and players play basketball. One fan was quoted as saying, “Yeah, I pretty much turn on the TV, see a commercial, and get on my phone to swipe on Hinge.” It would be an interesting direction for the NBA, but naturally, it’s a good decision, so the NBA will ignore it and probably do something stupid like add another All-Star game.
