Team doctors have growing concern about player hypothermia as “ice in my veins” celebrations ramp up following made three-pointers. A spokesperson from the NBA said they are “unsure if the celebrations are due to an intense winter storm season.” The NBA will try replacing sweatsuits with parkas for players to wear on the bench in hopes of stifling this concerning issue.
