After what seems to be the Dallas Mavericks’ season from hell, heartbroken fans who have seen stars traded and every player on the roster injured have turned to divine intervention. Fans were quoted as saying, “There is only one man that can save us, Jesus. And not Jesus, Jesus, German Jesus.” This clearly refers to Dirk Nowitzki’s return. Another fan expressed frustration, saying, “At this point, we have to believe in the higher powers that be. It may take the rapture to beat the Raptors.” Signs of the apocalypse may be coming; time will tell if German Jesus will save the Dallas Mavericks.
